Our mission is simple: to ensure that, when it comes to connectivity, no community in the South West is left behind.
To deliver full-fibre broadband to poorly-served communities throughout the South West, we’re building our very own, brand-new network.
But unlike providers – who connect fibre lines to a cabinet up the road and leave the rest to an old copper wire – our independent network sees us install ultrafast, full-fibre lines directly to the properties we serve.
That’s why our customers always receive the speeds they pay for.
Expanding our independent network means we’re able to make a meaningful difference to communities all over the South West.
We were founded with the belief that everyone is entitled to reliable, ultrafast broadband – wherever they are. That’s why a community-focused ethos has always been at the heart of everything we do.
Because by connecting primary schools and hubs in every area our network passes, we’re able to ensure local institutions and causes can continue to provide valuable services to everyone in the community.
Our network is always growing, and we’re working as quickly as possible to deliver the fastest, most reliable broadband to communities throughout the South West.
By 2025, we aim to pass 500,000 properties, meaning each property is ready to get connected our full-fibre broadband. It’s an ambitious goal, but one we’re well on the way to achieving.
When it comes to building our network, we always try to utilise existing infrastructure (such as telephone poles and ducts) wherever it’s practically possible for us to do so.
When we have to build an infrastructure of our own, disruption is unfortunately unavoidable. But this short-term disruption presents plenty of long-term benefits.
Installing a brand-new, full-fibre network in your community doesn’t just bring ultrafast speeds and connectivity. It also means we’re helping to significantly level up the South West’s digital capabilities for generations to come.
