Building our new active ethernet fibre infrastructure sounds complicated, but really it’s perfectly simple, it starts with you. By you raising your hand it allows us to look at your community and work closely with you to ensure that as many people as possible get to learn about a truly better broadband solution delivered over an entirely new network. We give you all the tools you need & we’re here to help you at every step of the journey.


First we need to know we have enough people interested in a new choice of network.

This normally means 30% of the homes and/or businesses in your community. Registering your interest online is vital to start the process as it lets us know that you would like to know more and gives us confidence in the demand in your community.


Once we begin receiving interest from a community we will arrange Q&A events to answer any questions you may have about our service. We can also help you in galvanising the support of your friends and neighbours because it’s really important at this stage that you share what you know with others.

If one person tells seven then you are well on your way! If you are really passionate about making it happen in your community you can also become a TrueSpeed Champion.


When we are happy that there is enough interest we can commit to providing your community with full fibre broadband and the planning, design and build process can begin.

This is also when you have the opportunity to sign a Service Order Form with us. This is no cash conditional contract and you only take the service once your community threshold is met and we are able to deliver within six months.


Our Community Engagement Managers will be visible in your community at this stage, busy setting up appointments, answering your valuable questions and giving you all the materials you need to inform your neighbours about what is available to them. We are always looking for new ways to engage with communities so if you have any ideas you’d like to share, we welcome this and will work closely with you to achieve the threshold required to commence build.


Once we have agreed to build your network things really start to speed up. It’s during this period that the community starts to reach the numbers for us to commence installation. You’ll notice a lot of activity in your community because now is the time when experienced TrueSpeed engineers and subcontractors attend to all the necessary preparations for installation.

This is when we’ll also look to our Broadband
Champions to continue to help us spread the word.

Upon sign-up, you will have received an installation date and received a visit from one of our team to assess your needs accurately. You can expect that loose ends will be tied up, and the small details of your connectivity are completed
