Getting a full-fibre line added to your home is a lot easier then you might think.
It takes our team just 90 minutes to install your new line and get you connected to ultrafast broadband.
As installer Brad explains in the video, getting your new Truespeed full-fibre line installed is quick and easy.
One of our friendly engineers will arrive at your home at the agreed time, and will look for the best way to install a fibre line from our local cabinet into your home. This might be via an overhead line or underground. Whatever approach we take, we’ll ensure your home and surrounding area are left clean and tidy.
We will need to drill a small hole in your wall, which we use to connect your new fibre line into a small box. This then hooks up to your router and you’re all good to go.
Many people have broadband made from fibre-optic cables that reach your nearest street cabinet, and connected to your home using the wires used for the telephone network. When you switch provider you usually get a new router but as they’ll use the same wiring, your speeds don’t change much.
Full-fibre broadband (also known as fibre-to-the-property) is different: You will be connected to our custom-built Truespeed network with your very own fibre-optic connection, all the way to your home.
Your new, dedicated full-fibre line is one of the reasons why we can offer such ultrafast download and upload speeds, and why we can guarantee they won’t drop. We’re so confident that we offer all new customers a 30 day money back guarantee.
Truespeed’s founding belief is that everyone has the right to a broadband connection that works. That is why we started building a brand new, state-of-the-art, full-fibre broadband network across the South West. But, we also want to be more than just another broadband company, we want to be truly better is everything we do.
We’re based in Bath, and all our team are local, whether our customer service team or engineers. Community is at our core. That’s why we’ve connected over 150 schools and community centres for free as part of our network rollout.
Our 12-month contracts are discounted for new residential customers until the end of the contract, and after 12 months revert to no-contract pricing. Please note that additional mesh nodes are unavailable with no-contract options. Ts&Cs apply.
We know our broadband is better, but it’s still great to hear what a difference it’s making for our customers.
