As a Bath-based full-fibre broadband provider, Truespeed is honoured to have won the ‘Technology’ category at the 2023 Bath Life Awards. Building a gigabit-capable infrastructure from scratch is a momentous challenge, and our team have been working tirelessly to rollout our ultrafast network and bring residents and businesses across the South West the connectivity they deserve.
The award is a huge testament to the hard work and effort put in by the Truespeed team, and we couldn’t be more proud of the record-breaking results we’ve achieved over the past year.

Steadfast in our commitment to ensure entire communities can benefit from our network for generations to come, Truespeed has connected over 150 schools and community hubs to free broadband for life.
Alongside improving access to ultrafast connectivity, we support communities by partnering with a variety of different charities, clubs and local initiatives. In 2022 alone, Truespeed supported 15 community events and took part in 10 sponsorships that provided vital funds to the projects. We even took on the significant engineering challenge of connecting ValleyFest to ultrafast broadband, so vendors and festival goers could enjoy reliable connectivity in the remote location.
Since day one, we’ve been committed to supporting the communities we connect and we’re thrilled the judges recognised our efforts to genuinely help people with our network.
Record Growth
Pressing hard on the accelerator pedal, 2022 was Truespeed’s most successful year in our history with record growth across the board. We’re hugely proud the judges took into account the hard work our team have put into growing the company. In 2022 we grew our customer base by 48%, increased sales by a staggering 218%, increased the number of properties passed by 186% and nearly doubled the size of our Truespeed team.
