Truespeed collaborates with Hayesfield School

In June 2025, managers from Truespeed’s sales and marketing teams visited Hayesfield School in Bath to support local Business Studies students with a particular interest in Marketing.

Children’s Hospital South West (CHSW) has been partnering with Hayesfield School since 2021 in delivering its ‘Young Ambassador Programme’. This initiative supports sixth form students in developing life and employability skills whilst they raise awareness of CHSW in their local communities and deliver creative projects as a team. As part of this initiative, the students were given a brief by Truespeed to develop a direct mail marketing campaign that could be shared with homes around Hayesfield School that are able to connect to the Truespeed network.

The students also pitched their proposals in person to senior managers from Truespeed, with the winning proposals featured here on the Truespeed website. Some of the best ideas pitched have even been adapted by Truespeed into a bespoke marketing offer.

Head of Applied Learning at Hayesfield School, Chris Morgan, said, “This was a fantastic opportunity for our business students to develop a marketing campaign based on a real brief from the Truespeed team, with a charitable element.”

Developed from the student’s proposal, and in keeping with Truespeed’s commitment to the communities we serve, we are offering a bespoke offer for households near Hayesfield School. For every purchase made using the bespoke promo code, Truespeed will donate to Hayesfield Schools’ charity partner, the Children’s Hospice South West.

Director of Digital and Marketing, Duncan McCarthy, at Truespeed said, “We are committed to investing in our communities, both through our ultra-reliable full-fibre network, and through local action. Over the last ten years, we have connected more than 250 schools, community centres and organisations for free, and we’re proud to be raising vital funds for the Children’s Hospice South West, whilst also helping community-minded local students.”
